Kamillosan concentrate - natural help with inflammation
Hardly any natural remedy helps as reliably and in a variety of ways as Kamillosan®. Even when it is chemically produced the active ingredients have the concentrated power of the unique manzana chamomile. It is a permanent fixture in the treatment of various inflammations. The versatile herbal medicine Kamillosan® Concentrate works as an anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic remedy and improves wound healing.
Kamillosan® Concentrate is used for:
· inhalation;
· inflammatory diseases and irritations of the respiratory tract;
· additive for moist compresses, douches or washes for inflammatory skin; mucosal diseases, including the oral cavity and the gums;
· douching for inflammation in the anal and genital area.
Kamillosan® Concentrate can be used internally against spasmodic and inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.
INFLAMMATION OF THE MOUTH AND THROAT
An inflammation of the throat often accompanies by the cold, usually caused by the typical viruses. It can be very painful for the affected person while eating, drinking, swallowing or speaking. Mouth sores like inflammation of the gums or palate can be caused by wrong sedentary prostheses or infections.
Gargle or rinse with diluted Kamillosan® concentrate alleviates the discomfort and helps with healing.
INHALE CORRECTLY
Inhaling with hot steam relieves cough, nasal congestion and moisturizes the irritated mucous membranes. However, you have to follow particular caution: a pot may tip over and hot water can cause severe scalds. Children must always inhale under supervision. Hot fumes can irritate the eyes, therefore steam inhalers are more suitable. The mouth and nose attachment of the inhaler specifically moisturizes the mucous membrane in the upper respiratory tract. Additives such as chamomile in Kamillosan® Concentrate help against inflammation of the nasal mucosa, mouth, throat and accelerate healing.

and water-soluble ingredients. The alternative to the tea are alcoholic-aqueous chamomile extracts like Kamillosan® Concentrate, because they contain both drug groups.
Recommended dosage: dissolve 1 - 2 teaspoons of Kamillosan® Concentrate in a glass of lukewarm water (250 to 300 ml) and take it in the morning on an empty stomach and in the evening before bed. Then two to three minutes roll on the stomach, back and on each side so that the chamomile solution moistures the entire gastric mucosa.

Kamillosan® is the only chamomile extract from the Manzana chamomile, which is particularly rich in active ingredients. The variety was specially bred and patented for Kamillosan. A special manufacturing process guarantees you the same consistently high concentration of active ingredients.
Important to know:
The quality of a chamomile extract largely depends on the original plant. The "real" or "mean" chamomile has been known as a medicinal plant since ancient times. Hardly any other indigenous medicinal plant has so many healing effects. The Manzana chamomile is the raw material for Kamillosan. It exceeds the active ingredient content of chamomile used in other preparations. The concentrate contains 42.8% by volume of alcohol.

Contraindications
The drug must not be used:
· if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to Chamomile and other daisy family or any other preparation components;
· Not for ingestion, mouthwash and inhalation in case of alcoholism.
Dosage
Recommended use of Kamillosan Concentrate:
For inhalation: 20 ml of Kamillosan Concentrate stirr in approx. 1 liter of water.
Inhale hot water 1 to several times a day for 10 minutes.
For mouth rinsing and gargling: 5 ml in 1 glass (100 ml) of warm water, 3 times or several times a day as required.
For compresses, washes and rinses: 45 ml to 1 liter of water, 1 to several times a day.
For hip and partial baths: 30 ml to 1 liter of water, 1 to several times a day.
For ingestion: Up to 4 times a day in 1 cup (100 ml) of warm water:
Adults: 5 ml; Children from 6 to 12 years: 3 to 4 ml; Children over 12 years: 5 ml.
Special care must be taken to ensure that the dilution is correct. To use the correct dose, the 30 ml pack size is supplied with a measuring cup (3-5 ml) and the 100 ml, 250 ml and 1000 ml pack sizes come with a measuring cup (5-30 ml).

Can Kamillosan® Concentrate be used for children?
Due to the alcohol composition of Kamillosan Concentrate, it is important to ensure the correct dosage when it is used internally for children from 6 years of age. Kamillosan® Concentrate should therefore only be given to children under the age of 12 after the consultation with the doctor. Kamillosan Concentrate should not be taken by children under 6 years of age.
How long should Kamillosan® Concentrate be taken?
The duration of course of Kamillosan concentrate depends on the type, and severity of the disease. In general, Kamillosan® Concentrate can be used until the symptoms have subsided. Information in the leaflet on the items "What should you consider before use" and "Side effects" must be taken into account. You should consult a doctor immediately if there is no improvement within 7 days or periodically recurring complaints, extensive inflammation or pus-covered skin changes. A consultation with the doctor or pharmacist is advisable if the effect of Kamillosan concentrate appears too strong or too weak.
What to do if I forgot to take Kamillosan® Concentrate?
If the previous application is forgotten, the double dose should not be used, but the treatment should be continued as prescribed or as described in the package leaflet.
Are there any known interactions with other drugs?
The alcohol composition of Kamillosan® concentrate can impair or intensify the effect of other drugs. It is therefore important to inform the doctor or pharmacist if other medicines are being used, have recently been used or are to be used in the future.

· Chamomile preparations are not suitable for intestinal irrigation. In individual cases, allergic reactions up to allergic shock may occur. Due to the alcohol composition, the preparation should not be used for colonic irrigation.
· The drug should not be applied directly in the eye area, because of possible irritation.
Children
· There are insufficient studies on the use of this medicine in children and infants.
· Children under 6 years of age are not allowed to use the preparation. Due to the alcohol composition of the medicinal product, it is important to ensure that it is diluted correctly when it is used internally in children from 6 years of age.
· Children under 12 years of age should take this preparation only after consulting with a doctor.
Driving and using machines
· There are no special precautions required.
Pregnancy
· The widespread use of chamomile as a food and medicine has so far not given any indications of risks during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
