Pharmacological properties:
By reducing the surface tension at the interface, it hinders the formation and contributes to the destruction of the gas bubbles in the intestinal contents. Released when the gasses can be absorbed by the intestinal walls or output through peristalsis. When sono- radiography and prevents interference and overlapping images; It promotes better irrigation colonic mucosa contrast medium, preventing rupture contrast film.
Simethicone alters the surface tension of gas bubbles formed in the contents of the stomach and intestinal mucus, causing their destruction. The released gases are sucked or removed from the intestinal wall in the intestinal peristalsis. Simethicone removes foam physical means, and does not enter into chemical reactions.

Pharmacokinetics:
Because the physical and chemical inertness is not absorbed in the body, after the passage through the gastrointestinal tract output is unchanged.
