Isla® moos
What does isla® moos contain?
1 lozenge contains 80 mg aqueous extract of Iceland Moss (0.4 - 0.8 : 1).

Other components:
Arabic gum, sucrose, thin liquid paraffin, caramel (colour E 150), purified water. 1 lozenge contains 424 mg sucrose = 0.035 BE.

When is isla® moos used?
The ingredients of isla® moos lie like balm over the mucous membrane in the throat and pharynx. This protects the irritated mucous membrane from further attacks and allows it to recover more quickly due to the beneficial effect, especially in the case of throat problems.
  • coughing and hoarseness
  • heavy strain on the vocal cords (singers, speakers)
  • dry breathing air (heated or air-conditioned)
  • dry mouth
  • restricted nasal breathing.

When must isla® moos not be used?
Isla® moos must not be used if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.

When is caution required when taking isla® moos?
Please only take isla® moos after consulting your doctor if you know that you suffer from an intolerance to certain sugars.

Can isla® moos be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding?
There is no research that speaks against use during pregnancy and lactation.

How do you take isla® moos?
Adults and children over the age of 4 suck 1-2 lozenges several times a day as needed.
With children, care should be taken to ensure that they have already acquired the ability to control sucking.
Note for diabetics: 1 lozenge contains 424 mg sucrose = 0.035 BE.

How long can you take isla® moos?
If necessary, isla® moos can be taken over a long period of time. If there is no improvement after 10 days of treatment, please consult your doctor or pharmacist.

What undesirable side effects can isla® moos have?
In isolated cases, hypersensitivity reactions can occur.

Shelf life and storage information
  1. The expiry date is printed on the folding box and the blister. Do not use this pack after this date. The lozenges should be stored dry and not above 25 °C.
